(Received 2 p.m.) LONDON, May 16.« Ten years ago tiie manageress of a j famous little Continental cafe in Soho 1 gave employment to Ernest Wood, who i was introduced to her as a brother by ] another employee who was later killed - iii the war. j During the decade Ernest gave entire I satisfaction as an assistant waiter, but I when a few weeks ago Ernest was admitted to tbe hospital suffering from •consumption, from which he died to-day, , aged 24, it was discovered that Ernest i was a girl.
