WIRELESS BEAM SYSTEM.
SECRECY AND RAPIDITY. ~ . (Receircd 11 n.m.) MELBOURNE, this day. Speaking on the beam system of wireless communication, 3lr. E. T. Fisk, general manager of Amalgamated Wireless (Australasia), Ltd., said it was revolutionary development in wireless -for the reason that greater secrecy was obtained and it enabled messages to be regulated and sent in one direction, instead of in all directions as hitherto. The system would greatly reduce interference and permit a greater number of stations to ■work simultaneously about ene wave le.igth than would be possible if waves from each station were propagated in all directions.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
