OTAGO STILL INTERESTED, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. J. C. Begg, secretary of the astronomical branch of tbe Otago Institute, stated 'this morning that it would be a disaster if the failure of Auckland tests should be taken as support of argument not to establish an observatory at a , suitable place in New Zealand. Otago I might consider taking action independ--1 ently of Yale.
