LEAGUE FOOTBALL.
The itinerary mapped out and accepted by the Australian universities' team will cover live games, all of which will be played in the Auckland province. The reason for this is because the team is coming across at the invitation of the Auckland League, and in all probability there will be three games against Auckland, one against South Auckland, and one against a combined Waikato team. No definite itinerary has been adopted touching the visit of the English team, but arrangements are being made for the team to play matches in Auckland, Hamilton, Wellington, Canterbury, Dunedin, and at Greymouth. Nelson has as"ked for a match, but unless it can be shown that the League game is firmly established there, the prospects of the New Zealand Council meeting the reI quest are not good.
