Ftrar in Hiine. — Tbe manager reports that tbe drive going south on the Tninul reef at the intermediate level has been extended 16ft. tanking a total distance driven of 146 ft. The mostly of a brown rubble, in which no gold has been eeen for the week. The short crosscut to cut the footwall portion of the Tainui reef at the intermediate level is now advanced 21ft, but so far the reef had not been. met with. Another two or three days should see all the flood damage repaired with the exception of the water race. The carpenter is engaged erecting the quartz hopper at the bottom end of the main aerial ropeway.
