MEW SYSTEM OF SUBSIDY. PRE-WAR IfVEL RENTS. (Received 11 a.m.) LOXDON, May 15. 'An important item in th,e Government's housing policy is contained in a circular issued by the Ministry of Healtli to the local authorities. It is announced that an agreement was reached at th* recent housing conference providing foi a subsidy of £13 10/ annually for eacli house for a period of 40 years, the Gov eminent providing two-thirds and th< r local authorities the remaining one-third ; It is also stipulated that rentals be cquu r to pre-war levels.— (Reuter.) 1
