A MEMBER UNSEATED.
rAUXT OF HIS ELECTION AGENT
(Received 2.30 p.m.)
LONDON, May 14.
Mr. F. Gray, Liberal member for Oxford City, has been unseated for spending more than the permitted maximum on his election campaign. Mr. Justice Sankey, in his judgment, said that Mr. Gray left the Court with no stain on Ms character, but his agent, Johnstone, ■was guilty of fraud and corrupt practices. Mr. Gray had only himself to blame because he trusted the running of the election to Johnstone, who was in a state of abysmal ignorance in regard to the election law.— ("Sun.")
