LOAN POLL CARRIED,

Property owners in the undrained portion of the borough of Onehunga decided yesterday by a majority of two to one to liave their premises connected with the main sewer. This decision was reached at a poll of ratepayers on a proposal to borrow the sum of £34,700 to cover the cost of draining Te Papapa, Beresford Park, St. George's estate, and Clark Road. The voting at each pollingbooth was as under:— For the Proposal. Against. Te Pnpapa 02 39 Beresford Park. 45 l>l Royal Oak IT 10 154 78 There were 600 names on the roll.
