«he annual general meeting of the Cavell Company of Girl Tlnides was held In St Andrew's Parish Hall, Dr. Hilda Northcroft presiding while Sirs. W. R. Wilson (Dominion commissioner I, Sliss Averil (district commissioner) and Sirs. J II Dalton (vice-president)' were present. ' The president briefly referred to the good work done by the officers and girls during' the past twelve months, and congratulated them on the residts obtained. Sirs. W. R. Wilson wished them every success in their work, and trusted that they would receive Ihe support they deserved. It Is only nine months since the change from Girl Teaco Scouts to Girl Guides was made, and since that time 12 girls have obtained their first class and :S2 their second class, as well as many other proficiency badges. They have also been successful In retaining the Boswell Home Nursing Cup, and were second to Takapuna Company in points for the Wilson swimming shield. The officers elected for the cnßiilng year were: President. Dr. Hilda Northcroft; vicepresidents, Sirs. Rowley and Sirs. J. H. Dalton; committee. Slesdamea Rapson, Btirgin, Pnrkes, Roberts, Toswcll, Miss lias•zard. and Sllss Clarke; secretary and treasurer, Miss Nclll.
