Crombie (Ashburten), the Central Otago match; and I. Clark (Ashburton), the North Ot«ge match. A resolution was passed by competitors "That, for further inducement to young men to take up rifle shooting, not only as a pastime, but ai a national service, the issue of im railway passes be reinstated, and til rifle meetings in New Zealand to be entitled to the same privilege.
