HOSPITAL BOARD.
I (To the Editor.) i Sir, —As one who has been visiting i the hospital for years, and closely in ' touch with the minds of both patients and the nursing staff, may I be allowed ito record my pleasure on seeing from j your columns that Mr. W. Wallace has : again been elected chairman of the ■ board 1 No more self-sacrificing and painstaking officer of a great institution, jin my opinion, ever existed. At the ; same time, all our worthy chairman did ! was done with such cheerful, smiling ■; goodwill that his constant visits were a ] steady ray of sunshine to all the suffer - ' ers in the wards. And when associated with him we have the genial superintendent, Dr. Maguire, and his splendid i staff, I consider the patients are to be ! congratulated.—l am, etc.. I A. R. BLACKSON.
