NAVY IN MEDITERRANEAN.
PERTURBATION OF FRANCE. (Received 1 p.m.) PARIS, March 13. The "Temps" says the British naval Manoeuvres raise the whole Mediterranean problem. France cannot hand the keys of her house even to her best friends. France's security depends as much on the Mediterranean as the Khineland. Although a Labour Government is in power Earl Beatty is sacrificing nothing. The British squadron at Malta will Vie greater than the whole French Mediterranean -force.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
