The visitors today treated a large crowd of people to a brilliant and daring display. R. Bardsley (00) and Ratcliffe (45) continued aggressively. Despite the home team's keen fielding runs came steadily. Bardsley reached the century, but was howled at 117. after a splendid innings, including Hi boundaries. The partnership raised the. score to 220, Ratcliffe making 71 aggressively, including one six and seven fours. Oldfield played forcefully, but soon Jost Everett." After he had given a forceful display Mailey trapped him when be had scored 32. Four more wickets went cheaply, the best scorers being Nasmith, who stonewalled an hour for 15, and A.
