GOLDEN WEDDING.
MR. AND MRS. B. H. BLIXHAM. Two residents of Auckland for over 40 years, Mr. and Mrs. B. Henry Bli.vhani. celebrated tbe golden anniversary of their wedding on January 22 at their residence, Mount Road, Mount Albert. The husband arrived in Dunedin in IS7O. by the ship Warrior Queen, and the wife in 1874, by the Duufillan. After living in Dunedin for ten years, they came to Auckland to reside. They had a family of six girls and four boys. Two sons served during the "war, one making the supreme sacrifice. There are 38 grand children, and six great grandchildren.
