HARD TIMES IN WALES. LOXDOX, January 25. A hundred thousand South Wales and 6000 Lothian miners arc idle because of the railway strike. It is feared that thousands of miners in South Yorkshire will be idle at the end of the week. Some large coal-pits at Doncaster arc partially idle. The strike has led to a serious shortage of coal. •Liverpool and Hull docks are practically, at a standstill.
