SALVAGE FROM PORT ELLIOT.
BENZINE BY THE AWAHOU. A cargo of salvaged benzine from tbe wrecked liner Port Elliot will arrive at Auckland on Monday by the Richardson steamer Awahou, which has been attending the wreck during the past fortnight. This will.be discharged at the Western wharf. The Mako is still attending the wreck to assist in salvage. operations as weather permits; but lately the strongeasterly winds prevailing on the coast have considerably hampered the work
