HIGHWAYS COUNCIL.
INSPECTION OF ROADS. The .Co. 3 Highways Council, -which comprise, the Tauranga, Rotorua, W"hakatane. arid Opotiki Counties, has arranged the following 1 itinerary of examinations of various proposed highway roads: January 28, meet at Whakatoae, visit Kutarere via Wainui, return to Whakatane; January 29, Whakatane to Taupo; January 30, Taupo to Waihi. via Lichfield .Road: January 31. Waihi to Rotorua, via Kaimai and Mamaku: February 1, Rotorua to Tauranga, where a meeting of the council "will be held. Arransrements may be made to confer with Mr. Wynyard. a representative of the Main Highways Board.
