DIRECTION BY WIRELESS.
j The Marine Department, apparently not satisfied with the experiments at the Three Kings last year, intends to make further experiments at the northern point of New Zealand. The Tutanckai will take Captain Whitef'ord, acting nautical adviser to tlje Xuw Zealand Government, and a party of electric ans to Cape Maria in February. A temporary wireless station will" be eeoted and the Tutanckai will eriti-o oil' the jeoast and make her tests. There is a difference of opinion as to whether a light or a wireless station is better as a. guide to mariners.
