SLAUGHTER FOR RINDERPEST
DISEASE AT ROTTNEST. PERTH, January 2. All the cattle on Rottnest Island, wbere rinderpest broke out. have been destroyed. The Rinderpest Board of Control is checking all goods by the transcontinental railway to prevent the export to any eastern State of prohibited articles. (A. and > T .Z. Cabte.)
