CRITIC ON WAR PENSIONS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUXEDIX, this day. At a meeting of soldier pensioners, addressed by Mr. J. D. Harper (R.S.A. representative on the War Pensions j Board), one pensioner stated that the general impression given regarding the extra allowances provided for in the Finance Act, 1920, was that they were I to be a permanent grant, whereas it now appeared they could be taken away at the board's discretion. "So that assurances given by Messrs. Massey and Rhodes aren't worth a d ," stated another pensioner.
