A function unique tn the annals of th« Auckland jewellery trade took place at th» Tlflin in the form of a combined dinner held t> v the manufacturing, repairing, -wholesale and retailing branches of the trade. A most enjoyable evening »ll spent, at which schemes for the uplift of the trade were discussed, and It -was decided to form a Trade Social Association, watch would bring all branches together. Mr. E. S. Kohn was chairman, and songs were rendered by 'Messrs. Flood, Grieve, Warburtoa, Urquhart and Coltman. The arrangement* i were admirably organised by 31r. E. 8. Kohn. i
