NEW SCHOOLS.
SEVERAL APPLICATIONS GRANTED.
Dealing with applications for new schools, the Education Board approved a report by the inspector that there wa* no pressing necessity for the establishment of a school at Bellvue, Victoria Valley. The acquisition of a school site at Dominion Road terminus was authorised by the Department. It wag reported that an option until September 5 had been obtained over a proposed site for Parnell School, concerning which the Minister would confer with the Board in four weeks' time. The Board approved applications from Kennedy Bay, Rotokakahi (Hokianga), and Runa Runa (Hokianga) for the erection of small schools and authorised the establishment of a* school at Tβ Akau South (Raglan)
