GENERAL HEAVY RAIN.
INFLUENZA PREVALENT. WEATHER PROVOKES SPREAD. (Received 10.30 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. There have been general heavy rains in Sew South Wales during the past week. Large areas in Queensland and in Victoria have shared in the downpour. Owing to the bitterly cold and wet weather there is much common influenza in the country districts. Nearly all reported cases are of the mild type.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
