MORTALITY OF OLD PEOPLE.
DTJNEDIN'S STARTLING FIGURES. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The ravages of influenza and other winter complications among elderly people in Dunedin are shown in startling fashion in the monthly statistics. Of 171 people who died during the month, 105 were over 60 years of age, and tho total deaths were nearly double those of July last year.
