FASTEST IN THE WORLD.
MaeDONALD'S BOWLING. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 23. The "Athletic Ncwe," commenting on Mac Donald's Lancashire League performances, declares that the claims that he is the fastest bowler in the world appear to be justified. This season he has captured over 70 wickets, at an average of five runs apiece.—(A. and N.Z. Cable.)
