GUARDING TRE TRAINS
FROM CHINESE BANDIT RAIDS.
A BRITISH SUGGESTION. (Received 10.30 a.m.) TOKYO, June 21. Japan's Charge d'Affairs in Peking has reported that the British Minister has suggested that the Powers maintain a guard over the principal Chinese trains, but the majority of the diplomats do not favour the suggestion, Japan particularly opposing hasty intervention. — (A. and N.Z.
