SLANDEROUS STATEMENTS.

INVOKED.

£25 DAMAGES AWARDED.

The action claiming £50 damages for alleged elander brought by Mrs. A. V. Bradshaw against Mrs. E. j. Roberts was" concluded in the Magistrate's Court late yesterday afternoon.

Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M., was on the bench. Mr. Pendergast appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. Singer for the defendant.
