REFORM GOVERNMENT INCONSISTENCY.
(To the Editor.) Wr. —I am only a waybaek, but have made a discovery. And the present moment scorns eminently suitable to record it. The Reformers never miss an opportunity to rail at and exhibit their antagonism (o labour's pet and uracil hackneyed scheme, of State control of production, distribution, and exchange. Then why do they hold on so tenaciously to some things I will mention? Sugar, foment, wheat in the South Island, notes (some millions were printed), and other thirtjrs. the whole box and dice coming , under the general term of trusts and combines. Some may argue that is not Karl Marxian, but I say it is. and glaringly so. But it is only for some of the people, some of the time, not for all the people, all the time.—l am, etc..
