FLAG DAT BY VETERANS. COLLECTING TOR EX-SERVICE y ' ' " HEN. (Received ll a.m.) LONDON, May 24. Kmpire Day in London waa bright, but cold. The cbief outward sign of observance was "Flag Day" by the Veterans* Association for the relief of ex-service men and tbe establishment of a hostel at Inverforth. The president of the Association placed a wreath from Princess Beatrice on the cenotaph, being accompanied by Mrs. Baldwin, the Duchess of Norfolk, and representatives of the Dominions and Crown colonies.—(A. and N.Z.
