WINTER SHOW MATCHES. (By Telegraph. —Own Correspondent.) HAMILTON, Thursday. The Winter Show golf championship competition waa continued on St. Andrew a finks to-day. The results of the second round were .—Simpson oeat Tate, 4 up and 3 ; Lusfc beat D. Banks. 4 up and 2 ; McKenzle beat Lee. 2 up and 1 : A. Bond beat Nelson 1 up I Martelll beat O'Callaghan, 1 on at the 2(>th hole: : Quin beat Fleming. 4 up and 3; N. Bants beat Trice, 4 un and 2; D. Hay beat F. Bond, 1 up. A bogey handicap resulted in Martelll (all square). Nlcoll (1 down), and Price (1 down) returning the best cards. The medal handicap was won by 'Martelll 189—11 —78), with LtUsk (80 —scr —80) as runner-up.
