PUTARURU-TAUPO RAILWAY.
ELECTION- OF BOARD. (From Our Special Correspondent.) MORRIXSVILLE, Thursday. The election for the Putaruru-Taupo Hailway Board is to take place on 9th -May, nominations closing to-day It is understood that of the five members to constitute the board two are to represent the timber interests and three to represent the settlers. .Messrs. Earner and Iγ. S. fox have been nominated" for the former, and a meeting of settlers held recently at Tokaroa decided to endeavour to avoid an election by nominating three men only, these being Messrs. H W. Bullock, Hugo Friedlander, and J Campbell.
