In the Appeal Court, Mr. Patrick Hastings appealed against the "refusal of a writ of habeas corpus for Art O'Brien, ex-Republican envoy. After he-rin<- Mr. Hastings' argument, Mr. Justice Banks granted a decree nisi in order to hear the Crown's arguments.—(A. and N.Z.)
