DE VALERA'S ESCAPE.
TROOPS IN PURSUIT.
'G TO REACH CORK.
(By Cable. —Press Association.—Copyright.)
LONDON, April 13.
Free State troops under General Prout tare scouring the mountains to which Eamonn de Valera, Breen, and other rebel leaders escaped when Liam Lynch I was captured.
The Belfast correspondent of the "Daily Express" states that de Valera is attempting to reach Cork. It is believed that he has assumed a disguise. His escape hitherto has been due to his skill in making up. He escaped after the fall of the Four Courts in the garments of a hearse driver. Breen is one of the most desperate rebel leaders. He always carries two revolvers and declares that he will never be taken alive. (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
