NOT IJT OXTR BLACK SAND. LONDON.. March 23. A writer in "Nature" states that chemical X-ray analysis has definitely decided that New Zealand black sand does not contain hafnium, but consists of silica, iron, aluminium and a trace of titanium.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.) I
