•8,926 ENTITLED TO VOTE. RESULT BY 8 ON WEDNESDAY. (Py Telegraph.—special to "Star.") TAURANGA, this day. The fact that the Government excelled itself in smartness in closing the supplementary rolls lor the Tauranga electorate has resulted in no fewer than two hundred nnd fifty voters being excluded from the rolls. These voters in the past had not been specially interested in the elections, but the advent of Sir Joseph Ward into the arena has stimulated interest immensely, with the result that many electors who have never previously troubled with politics, are coming forward to show their approval of the°great financier's policy. The fact that many of the disappointed electors would have voted for Sir Joseph has made his supporters all the keener in advancing his cause iii the electorate.
