ABNORMAL RAINFALL.
ALMOST A RECORD. DAMAGE IX CANTERBURY. (By Tele? aph.—Press Association.) GHRISTCHURCH, this day. The rainfall up till noon makes the February total 2.00-in, and the total for the year 7-401 in. which is almost a record for January and February. Continuance of rain will have further serious results on root crops, especially potatoes, which are already suffering from blight and second growth.
