ITALIAN DEMOCRACY.
THE FASCISTI PROGRAMME. ROME, February 26. The Prime Minister, Signor Mussolini, speaking at the headquarters of Fascist trade unions, said that the Government intended to keep in close touch with the organisation. He believed that the Italian working classes supported the Government's reforms, which were inspired by a desire for the well being of the nation. He foreshadowed the adoption shortly of an eight-hour working day, together with other measures advantageous to workers.—(A. and N.Z.)
