APPEAL TO IRREGULARS. DUBLIN, February 2C. Writing to Pierce, the rebel leader whc surrendered in Kerry, Mr. Wj. T. Cos grave, President of the Free Stat< Executive, states that he is eonfidem that by i> manly facing of the situatioi most of the happenings of the last fey months can be forgotten. This is regardet as a fresh appeal to the irregulars. The Free State Home Secretary, Mr Kevin O'Higgins, states that for the firs' time the irregulars have surrendered or a challenge from Free State troops Nevertheless, every day sees cowardli assaults upon defenceless civilians. Eighi thousand young fools, male and female have beeir rushed into criminal outrage Boys and girls in their teens, who an utterly incapable of forming an opinioi on the conflicting issues, have been rushe< into this holocaust to gratify one man i vanity and one woman's hysterica egotism.—(A. and N.Z.
