THE TAURANGA SEAT.
SUGGESTED LIBERAL CANDIDATE. FIVE NAMES SUBMITTED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WANGAXUI, this day. Mr. I. M. Wilford states that he has received five names, suggested as possible candidaiee, for the Tauranga seat. He had replied to the organisations and individuals who forwarded them that he cannot discuss the matter till after the funeral of the late Sir William Hemes. Mr. Wilford regrets hie inability to attend the funeral on account of having promised to be at Waverley to-morrow to fulfil an engagement made by the Waverley people to euit his own arrangements.
