TRAGEDY AT WEXFORD.
EIGHT BURNED TO DEATH. WIDOW AND HER FAMILY. (Itrceivcd 2 p.m.) LONDON, December 27. A widow and seven out of her eight children, aged from one to ten years were burned to death on their Wexford farm owing to a hayrick catching fire. No cries were heard, the victims being suffocated in their sleep and the bodies incinerated. z The coroner said that he believed the fire was due to incendiaries. One girl, aged eight, escaped, as she was spending Onristmas with her aunt.— (A. and N.Z.)
