A SAILOR MISSING.
(By Telegraph—Own Correepondei*.* WAXGA>*UI, this d ar - Great anxiety i= felt for the safety of a sailor belonging to the steamer Waverley named Joseph Develin, 32. He is a single man and came from Wellington. Develin went to PaU» with several other members of the c&* on Sunday and returned to the vessel »* 12.15 a.m., shortly before she was timed to sail. On his arrival on board he changed his shore clothes for dungarees and was seen going ashore shortly ait« r " wards. From this time no further traM of him has been seen. Fears are entertained that he has fallen into the river.
