SUBURBAN TEAM'S TOUR. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, this day. : A team of cricketere from the Auckland Suburban A*eociatton commenced a match against DargavlUe at Aratapu yesterday. The home team won the tosa and batted. They were all out for 64, Gates (15) and Morgan (IT), being the highest scorers. Bowling: Elliott three for 21, Burtou two for 25, Stallworthy one for 0, Adams three tor 6. Auckland had lost four wickets for 48 at the close of the day's play, Llnegan 25 Elliott 0. Cotterlll 12, Burton 8. Armstrong (not out) 3. Adams (not out) 4; eitras 6. The match was resumed this morning.
HAWKE CUP CHALLENGE.
WANGANUI, Wednesday. The Hawke Cup match was concluded to-day In sultry weather, Wanganul defeatIngT Hawke , . Bay by 191 runs. Llfht rai; fell during the afternoon. In their jecond Innings Wanganui scored 841—sttpleton. 7a Orr 63, London 62, and Orton 50. J.'cobeen took eve wickets for 123 rune. Hawke's Bay found the task of getting 453 rune to win too much for them, and tbey were dismissed for 289— Hludinarsh 70 and O'Brien 50. O'Brien and Hindmarsh made a good stand for the sixth wicket and put on 112 runs. Wood took three wickets for 59, and Tronson four for 93. __^_^^_____
