Mr. C. I. Clark arrived by the Ulimaroa from Sydney yesterday, and it staying at the Central Hotel. Pearse, Auitraltsisß representative of the Port of Londen Authority, who has been on a visit to Auckland, left for Dunedin last evening.
For the purpose of inspecting the gutnlands experimental farm at Puwera, Messrs. F. S. Tope, assistant-director general. T. H. Patterson, instructor of the Department of Agriculture, and Mr. H. Hooper, left for Whangarei last night.
Mr. and Mrs. S. Muir, of Gieborne. are on a visit to Auckland with their family, having motored through by way of Opotiki, Tauranga. and Waihi. They are staying at "Stonehuret." and to-mor-row leave for Hamilton, their intention being to return home through Rotorua and Taupo.
