CONFERENCE OF ALLIES. SUGGESTED BY BRITAIN. FRANCE PROPOSES PARIS. (By Cable.—Press Association.—CopyrtckU . LONDON, October 18. The TiritUh Ciovernment has suggested to Kriune and Italy that a meeting of Allied experts should he held in London as soon as possible to discutfs any necessary modifications of the financial and' economic clauses of the Treaty of Sevres. There is no question that the conference will be quite informal, and no definite decisions will be taken.

Italy lias agreed to be represented nt tho meeting, but i'rance has not yet replied.— (Reuter.)
