Point Chevalier, parish of Titirnngi, the proceeds to lie imested as an endouincnt for the parish or district for the time lieinp within which the land is situated; section fi, block 3, villnpe of Hiin.Kar.iii. situated at Tnuniarunui. (lie proceeds to lie applied towards the cost of purchasing the freehold uf Tannianmui Church and vicar- \ age sections: 11.0 perches, having aj frontage to St. George's Hay Koad. the pruceed.fi to be apjilied to the capital of the Bishopric endowment; 10 acres. parish of Mahuniiipi, the pruppede to be invested as an endowment for the parish or district fur the time, being in which the land is situated.
The followiii}; motion was carried: — "That this .Synod desires Ui express its satisfaction that the Bishop has in his charge to the Synod drawn emphatic attention to the urgent need of means being devised liy the Church to create ■ in the minds of yunng churchmen a fuller appreciation ol" the claim and call of our Lord upon them for His service in the priesthood; that a commission be appointed to consider what steps I if any) mifrlit lie taken to further this important matter, and report to the next session of Synod; that the commission consist of Archdeacon Mai-Murray. Mr. Cruickshanks it was decided that the , Standing Committee lie requested to I endeavour to arrange for 11 time limit to be placed on speakers at the Synod.
