SIR A. riTZROY COKVXCTSB. IHTERFERIHG WITH WOMKM. LONDON, October 17. Sir Alineric Kiteroy, X.C.8.. clerk <if the Privy Council, on a charge of interfering with women in Hyde Park, was fined £'"> and £10 10/ eort*. He gave notice of appeal.
The defence was that Kitzroy had aa appointment to meet his wife in Hyde Park. While he waited, two ladieii passed and smiled. Defendant, thinking that he might know them, raised hie hat and went back to see. He found that he dirt not know them and begged their pardon. He walked on, and later he s»w a woman sitting under come tr«je». She apologised for previously having be-jn so "stan.l--offis'i." explaining that there was a policeman near.— (A. and N.Z. Cable.)
