At Morrinsvllle on Tuesday lust we held our annual bull sale. There was a large yarding, but the prices were very low. and the animals were of very poor condition and auaiity. Good duality beasts brought fair nrices. though comeptltion was slack, .lersevs were in greatest demand, while the .Shorthorns suffered from lack of attention, hut there was small inquiry for the few Urieslans offered. We quote:—Jersey*?. Dedigree yearling 13gs to 21gs, 2-year grade Jerseys ~4gs to o*gs. others 3Ags to sgs. grade yearlings Ggs to lllgs, poorer sorts 2gs to 4gs: Shorthorns. 2-year hulls 2gs to 3sgs. yearling to 18 months. Ogs to .Sfces. poorer 2*gs to 3gs: Eriesiaus sold up to 82S. MATAMATA BULL SALE. At Matamata oil Monday 400 bulls of all breeds were yarded at our annual bull sale. There was a very large attendance, easily the .biggest seen at any sale in this district. Kidding was not brisk, but some good prices were realised. The top price for the sale was obtained by Mr. J. W. Anderson, of l'alrere —SCas for a pedigree Milking Sliorthoru hull with an exc-eileut milking record. Other bulls from the same vendor realised :togs and thereabouts. The top price for Jerseys was obtained by .Messrs. U. Young and AY. Crabb. at 31*.gs and l'.*ig.s respectively. I-'riesians were nor In demand, and grade cattle brought low prices.
