CENSURE VOTE IN QUEENSLAND. BRIBERY ALLEGATIONS. (Received 10.30 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. In the. House of Assembly the censure' motion was defeated by 30 to 35. Mr. K. <i. Theodore, the Premi«r, charged the Opposition with endeavouring to induce him to leave. Labour and lead a new party. The Opposition was also trying to achieve success by bribing Mr. Barnes denied that the National party were in any way mixed up in the matter. Two journalists, John Sleeman and Edward Connolly, charged with attempting to bribe Mr. V. Krennan to vote against his party on the cvnsure motion, were remanded until Monday on bail in their own bond of .£SOO and surety of £500.— (A. and X.Z. Cable.)
