An arrival by the Makura this morning was Lord Swinfen of Chertaey, a young English nobleman, who is making a tour of the world. Lord Swinfen, who is a typical English youth of eighteen, is on tie way through to Honolulu, where he will spend a few weeks before visiting the United States and Canada. He will not make a etay in the Dominion, and will return to England after touring the States. Thic morning Lord Swinfen left the vessel and visited various points of vantage in the city. Lord Swinfen of Cherteey's title is not by any means an old one, aa it was only created in 1919. His father, the first baron, was a distinguished English legal authority, who received his title in recognition of his cervices an Master of the Rolls. The present baron succeeded his father the came year as the first baron was elevated to the peerage. Lord Swinfen, who departs by the Makura to-morrow morning for Honolulu, was known as the Hon.
