UNIQUE DISPLAY AT THE WINTER SHOW. Visitors to the Winter Show should make a point of examining the New Zealand Court of Industries and Com- : meree at the show, which is situated at ■ tile end of the second building on the right. This exhibit consists of several well-displayed examples of Xew Zealand industry, including a full range of sugar and its by-products, meat, flour, examples of woollen manufactures from the greasy wool to the finished cloth or blanket, wood i pulleys in various sizes quite equal to the imported artich-. also tabulated statistics of all the manufacturing industries of Xew Zealand. The actual medals won by I the Department of Agriculture at the I Panama-Pacific Exhibition, 1915, are: shown, also a fine exhibit of gypsum f rock, from which plaster of paris is • made. The whole of this very interesting . exhibit is enclosed in a spacious court built of "Petros" Fibrous Plaster Boards, manufactured by Messrs. Lenian Bros., of Dominion Road. Auckland. This firm . not only make the finished board, but all ' the plaster of paris used in its manufacture is made on the premises from the crude gypsum rock. "Petros" plaster boards are especially suitable for the modern of home, and persons contemplating building would do well to examine the system on which the ceiling and walls of this court are constructed. "Petros" plaster boards are now used extensively in modern dwellings and offices, being sanitary and fire-proof to a degree. The styles of plaster boards made by this firm include the plain arctic, roughcast, and imitation tile, all of which can be readily painted, tinted," or enamelled to suit the taste. "Petros" piaster boards are made in a great variety of sizes, to suit all classes of work without In the process of manufacture. large quantities of New Zealand hemp are used, thus coming to the rescue of the flax industry, which has been languishing for some years past. Contrary to the prevailing opinion, a room or apartment can be lined in "Petros" plaster more quickly and at a less cost than by the ordinary systems. Messrs.
